What is Love?

This blog is about love. I like to tell stories, preferably stories about love because the quest for love is the most important driving force in my life. In a way that applies for everyone.

I tell those stories in a blog, because then everyone is free if and when he of she wants to read those stories. The articles won’t exceed the 600 words and I won’t post blogs more often then once a weak. 

Just as everyone  else I regularly met with a rebuff in pursuing love. Sometimes mildly but sometimes also extremely painful. I have tried to learn my lessons from it.

I don’t have a definite answer on questions as: "what is love?" and "how to attain it?" But I did discover insights that might be interesting for other people. Those insights I want to share on this blog.

I hope the reader will find here some inspiration for is own path of life.

This photo is taken in Valsinestra in the extreme east of Switzerland. I was very impressed by the beauty of this landscape. That impression grew even bigger when I realised that this beauty was due to the fact that year in and year out farmers had mowed this hayfields. That must have costed

an immense effort and dedication.

In the Netherlands grasslands are efficiently mowed with big machines. But in Valsinestra that is impossible. It is far to hilly. Here the hayfields are mowed with smal hand moter-mowers. not much bigger than a grass mowerer for the garden. Extremely labour-intensive.

 And it became even more impressive when I realised that there are in the world uncountable places where we can enjoy gratis the beauty that is added to the landscape by human dedication. All love.
